Remote Area Operations

Remote Area Operations

Support for difficult-to-access sites — capability currently in development.

Overview

Remote area capability, in development.

TEXC is scoping support for remote and difficult-to-access projects. This is not a service TEXC delivers today, and nothing on this page should be read as a current capability, licence or approval.

If you have work coming up somewhere hard to reach, tell us about it. Early visibility on real projects is what shapes where this goes and how quickly.

When this service is useful

  • A site is difficult to access by road
  • A remote project needs scoping well ahead of the works
  • Regional support is being planned away from major centres
  • You want to know whether TEXC will cover this before you go to tender

Where this stands

No remote area capability is offered or implied at this stage. TEXC does not imply ownership of aircraft or specialist transport, and does not publish remote magazine or project coordinates. Any future work would be subject to the licences, approvals and site procedures applicable to it, confirmed before anything is agreed.

Engaging TEXC

Straightforward to bring in.

Describe the work, the timing and the site. TEXC confirms what is required and what it can cover — including where the answer is that another arrangement suits you better.

Scope is subject to site approvals, procedures, documentation and the applicable requirements. An enquiry confirms neither availability nor scheduling.

Planning remote area operations work?

It is not something TEXC delivers yet. Tell us what is coming up anyway — early sight of real projects is what decides whether and when this happens.
